Ayesha and a few of her friends’ journey into Outback Australia to perform ‘drag’ shows for the first time inspired the film “Priscilla Queen of the Desert”. Ayesha was a long time frequenter of the Piccolo Bar until it’s closing in 2011. The Piccolo Bar was a home away from home for many of Sydney’s Bohemian characters.
